Our First Tweets

In case you missed it, Twitter turned a ripe old age (8-years-old!) last week. Joking aside, to celebrate this anniversary, Twitter launched first-tweets.com (which redirects to https://discover.twitter.com/first-tweet). Just type any username in the box and you too can see the inaugural tweet from any account on Twitter. Talk about harnessing the power of Twitter—our first tweets could not be more different. Eric's first tweet is about booze (as have many of his tweets since). Kendra's first tweet is about a networking event, whereas Leah's references The Princess Bride. Erin had long abstained from Twitter by choice but on the day she joined she jumped in like a pro, using a hashtag to bemoan Facebook connectivity. Thanks Twitter. This was fun.
